Ok, this week candidate for a "geeky Friday" is Sean Maher, who is playing Simon Tam
in the magnificent sci-fi series "Firefly". Simon's character is a classic cutie (and you have to admit that he is) and genius but neurotic doctor. Well, in this case neurotic behavior is actually add to his attractive persona.

In addition, in most of the episodes you can see him making lot of funny and shocking faces (similar to the pictures below). Who said that neurotics don't have sex appeal? ;)

"When I'm not afraid to fail, I wont. When I'm not afraid to fall down, falling down won't feel like failure. I have fallen down enough to get more comfortable with it, to know how productive it can be, how necessary it is to growth. Still, when I sense the ground beneath me giving way, I have to remind myself that it's OK if I falter. I have to remind myself that it's more than OK!"...Jan Denise

Thank you Requiemm for the image.

Top 10 Mysterious People

Ohh, this is one of the most intriguing top 10 lists I've read of late.
As article says: "Over the centuries, history is filled with wonderful tales of mysterious people - many of whom are never identified. This list is a selection of the most significant or mysterious people of this variety."

It has "The Poe Toaster", Mysterious JFK murder "Babushka Lady", D. B. Cooper, and even Fulcanelli. Well, about Fullcaneli - you can read this book. It offers very interesting evidence of Fullcaneli's identity.

Thank you Dolcezza for your efforts to remind us about the terror of the situation for many people on this planet. And thank you for reminding that many of us still have a heart. The question is - are we brave enough to follow the heart and take a stand against things or people who inflict so much pain on others? Against those who have nothing but poison running in their veins?

On another note...you also have images that remind us to appreciate those precious and brief true moments...

If you are familiar with D&D or other RPG games, there are some great themed illustrations on this page.

I guess that this picture was taken in ER. Now, imagine that you were one of the medical crew, and instead of this KKK creature was Cheney or Bush or Olmert, or any other murdering and thieving bastard. Would you do everything in order to save their life? And no, you don't know that after this rescue you would surely see them on trial for the crimes against humanity or anything that can be called human (because they are not). In fact, they would probably continue shedding the blood of those we hold dear. Think about it. I am still thinking about it. What is the most humane act in this kind of situation?

There are gals here who are participating in so called "half-naked Friday" (or was it naked?) tradition.
The concept is simple - each Friday to post a nice picture of some guy, minus clothing. Ahm. :) Well, although I have nothing against the idea, I've decided to be original and make my own tradition - called "geeky Friday". This way my other SU male friends won't twitch every time they'll visit my blog. Everything for a peaceful state of mind. :P

But even so, I won't be calling Bred Pitt a pure geek (yeah, probably just because of the glasses), so it is still somewhat kosher for a Friday :)
